The Courage to Listen Within
Updated: Oct 16

I know what it feels like to live far away from yourself.
From the outside, everything can look in place. Inside, there is a quiet distance, a feeling that something important is waiting and you are too busy, too tired, or too afraid to turn toward it.
For a long time I looked outside for the answer. I looked in teachers, in places, in different paths. I have loved Jesus all my life. I was drawn and belong to the path of Kriya Yoga and Paramahansa Yogananda wholeheartedly. I travelled to India, to Kolkata, Serampore and Varanasi, and to the cave of Mahavatar Babaji. I walked the Camino de Santiago from Porto to Santiago, one step after another, with nothing to do but listen.
Each of these journeys gave me something real. And each one, in its own way, brought me to the same quiet place: the answer I was seeking had been waiting inside me all along.
Listening within is not easy. It asks us to stop, to feel what we have been holding back, and to meet the younger parts of us who learned to stay quiet. It takes courage, because what we hear is not always comfortable. But I have found that what waits there is rarely as frightening as the silence around it. Most often, it is simply a part of us that wants to be heard.
InnerWorldGuide grew from a space I once longed for: somewhere calm and honest, where ancient wisdom and modern understanding sit side by side, and where no one is hurried or told what to feel.
It began with a simple wish, to offer others what I was looking for. Our first walk, "The One Who Waited," is a gentle meeting with the child within. It is free, because I believe coming home to yourself should never be out of reach.
You don't need to be ready. You only need to be willing to listen.
Start with one quiet moment today. Place a hand over your heart, close your eyes, and ask softly: What have you always wanted me to know?
Begin with The One Who Waited, a free 10-minute walk.
