My Journey

A life of searching, healing, and learning to trust the next step.

InnerWorldGuide did not begin as a business idea. It grew slowly from a life of searching—from profound questions, painful experiences, spiritual discovery, sustained healing, and an enduring desire to understand what helps us return to ourselves.

I did not arrive here because life was gentle with me.

I arrived here because, for a long time, it wasn’t.
My father struggled with alcoholism. Both of my parents are now gone. Of the twenty-two years we lived together as a family, nineteen were deeply painful—sometimes to an extreme.
I loved my family. And I was hurt within my family.
Both things are true.
As a child, I learned to feel what was happening around me before anyone said a word. I noticed changes in people’s voices, faces, and energy. I learned to anticipate what might happen next.
Much later, I understood that this sensitivity had become part of the way I meet people. I often feel what is underneath the words—what someone is trying to say, what they are protecting, and what they may not yet know how to name.
But before that sensitivity could become something I offered to others, it was something I had to understand and heal within myself.

Healing asked me to meet everything.

I was blessed to work closely with extraordinary healers whose work has touched many lives. Their guidance was invaluable, but no one could do the inner work in my place.

I had to meet every suppressed emotion, every wounded inner-child part, every painful memory, and every pattern formed in survival.

I learned to recognize the difference between what was truly mine and what I had absorbed from my family, my environment, and the experiences that shaped me. I learned to release energies and burdens I had carried as though they belonged to me.

Healing was neither quick nor linear. Nothing could be rushed. Nothing meaningful could be avoided.

It required courage, patience, prayer, and the willingness to return with compassion to the parts of myself I had once avoided or judged.

Layer by layer, I learned that healing is not a rejection of who we have been—it is a loving return for every part of us that was left behind.

Slowly, the past loosened its hold. The past was no longer a place in which I lived. It became a source of compassion, wisdom, and understanding.

I reached a place where I could remember without being governed by what I remembered.

A prayer made of footsteps

At an important crossroads in my life, I began walking the Camino de Santiago, from Porto, through Portugal and Spain, toward Santiago de Compostela.

The Camino taught me that I did not need to see the whole path. I only needed to recognize the next step, trust God, and follow the signs placed before me.

The journey tested me physically, mentally, and spiritually. At times, the thoughts I carried felt heavier than the backpack on my shoulders. I began offering every step to God, until the walk itself became a prayer.

Although I walked much of the way alone, I never felt alone. I felt a quiet presence guiding, carrying, and supporting me—and inviting me deeper into my own heart.

When I finally arrived in Santiago and entered the Cathedral, I felt the journey gather into one sacred moment. After Mass, I passed behind the altar and embraced the statue of Saint James. It felt as though the apostle was embracing me in return.

I came home changed in ways I could not fully explain—more present, more trusting, and more aware of what others may be carrying. The Camino taught me that we do not need to know the entire way forward. Sometimes grace reveals only the next step, and that is enough.

Following the call to India

My spiritual path led me to Paramahansa Yogananda, Kriya Yoga, and the sacred lineage honored by Self-Realization Fellowship.

India became a pilgrimage of the heart—a journey toward places I had already visited inwardly through prayer, devotion, and the pages of spiritual classic book "Autobiography of a Yogi", by Paramahansa Yogananda.

I travelled through the Himalayas and visited Mahavatar Babaji’s Cave twice. In the silence of those mountains, I felt an ancient and powerful presence inviting me into a deeper stillness.

I continued to places connected with Paramahansa Yogananda, Sri Yukteswar, and Lahiri Mahasaya—from Yogananda’s family home in Kolkata and the ashram in Serampore to Varanasi during Guru Purnima.

To stand where these great teachers had walked, prayed, practiced, and served was profoundly moving.

I cannot point to one moment and say, “This is what changed me.” The transformation was quieter than that.

Something within me expanded. My practice deepened into greater peace, natural joy, ease, and trust. I returned with a stronger understanding that beneath our different stories, we share the same human longings—to be loved, understood, safe, and connected to something meaningful.

We are all walking our own path.

And none of us is truly walking alone.

Learning to hold space

Before I could hold space for another person, I had to learn how to remain present with myself.

My years in hospitality leadership taught me how to work with people, respond under pressure, notice what is needed, and care for the experience of those around me. My healing journey taught me something deeper: how to listen beneath the words.

People have often felt able to open up to me. Over time, I came to understand that meaningful support is not about having every answer. It is about meeting someone without judgment, listening with care, and creating enough safety for what is true to emerge.

I do not see anyone as broken. I believe each person carries wisdom, even when pain, fear, or uncertainty has made that wisdom difficult to hear.

What I bring to this work

My approach is shaped by lived experience, sustained personal healing, spiritual practice, reflective inquiry, and a range of complementary methods.

I studied Clinical Hypnotherapy through UC San Diego Centers for Integrative Health and graduated from the EKAA Foundation of Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy- India. I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Energy Healer, and LIGHT professional, and I am part of the LIGHT Program team at UC San Diego Centers for Integrative Health.

My work is also informed by meditation, energy healing, crystals, sound healing, aromatherapy, and my background in hospitality and organizational management. I am currently completing Life Coach certification training through the Jay Shetty Certification School.

I value every field I have studied, but I do not apply one formula to everyone. Each person has a unique history, inner landscape, rhythm, and way of understanding life.

WHY INNERWORLDGUIDE EXISTS

A place to return to yourself.

InnerWorldGuide grew from the space I once needed—a place where I could speak honestly without being judged or reduced to what had happened to me.

A place where spirituality could be sacred and deep, yet human and grounded.

A place where someone would remind me that I was not broken—that beneath everything I had survived, there was still a self waiting to be heard.

That is the space I want to offer you.

Not because I have lived a perfect life or have every answer, but because I have walked through darkness without making it my home. I have searched, questioned, prayed, studied, healed, and continued.

I created InnerWorldGuide for the moments when life asks more of us—when work no longer feels right, a relationship is changing, a decision will not leave us alone, or we simply know we cannot continue in the same way.

You may come carrying pain, searching for direction, longing to trust yourself again, or feeling ready to grow into what comes next. Whatever brings you here, you do not have to sort through it alone.

This is a place for honest conversation, grounded support, spiritual depth, and practical next steps—for your work, your relationships, your inner life, and the life you are still becoming.

Here, you do not need to know the whole path.

We can begin with what is true now, listen for the next step, and meet it together.
